Last nights Love & Hope High Rollers Fundraising event, hosted by the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) to raise funds toward finding a cure was absolutely stunning, incredible and amazing. So much fun and lots of socializing. It was a special treat to be at the gorgeous and hottest South Beach hotspot known as the Faena Forum with its stunning architecture and unique room designs.

We started with a lovely cocktail reception and then we gathered for a delicious meal before sliding into a casino evening of non-stop thrills, rolls and winnings with lots of Bee Gees Music from the DJ, which was appropriate for my friends Linda and Barry Gibb, who are long-time supporters of the DRI. Many family members were present too.

Blackjack was my game of favor (I did well) and I also observed lots of chips flying around for craps, roulette and slots as well. We all turned in our winnings for Silent Auction tickets toward amazing luxury and high end prizes.

The joy of meeting up with dear friends and making new ones too was not only personally a highlight for me, but sincerely priceless and a gift. I’m so grateful for having had the time freedom to jump on a plane and join everyone. Simply a beautiful event and evening that I won’t forget anytime soon. And, let’s be raw and real … we all were having so much fun we continued it until the wee hours of the morning, thus my post reflects as if I’m still attending!!
