“Silence”

(dedicated to Maurice Gibb of course; such a loss)

No voice to be heard around no more
No noises to stir the air
No sounds of life, not anymore
All that remained was silence

I love the sounds that he produced
I love the voice he had
Forever that will be stuck in my head
Although there’s only silence

But the silence can and will be broken
And melodies and words once more will fly
A mortal man who sung of immortality
The music he made will never die
