A few short website updates for September / October
We haven’t been online much for the website recently due to the fact that we spent some time on holidays, had personal concerns, and other work to do , but like always … you’ve been able to follow us daily as usual: via the GSI Facebook group.

And we re post here a request from Gibb Family and their management team concerning sending post to Barry and the Gibb family:
‼ IMPORTANT GSI ANNOUNCEMENT ‼
about not sending mail and things to be signed to Barry’s addresses in the USA and UK, etc.
I keep receiving many questions concerning contacting Barry by writing letters etc. to his home in USA or UK……. however it’s all mentioned in the GSI Guidelines on Facebook and here on the website………: there is no special address to use for fans in order to get in contact with Barry or any of the Gibbs. Since we have our special GSI Facebook group, fans can use that group to write down there feelings etc. for Barry and family, as many of the Gibb family are on this group too, also Linda so she can see the postings and notify Barry if necessary. It’s not possible for Barry to receive thousands of letters , parcels etc. etc. from all over the world constantly and then to read or even to answer, I hope you’ll all understand. So use the GSI group to express/ write something to him or the family.
Sometimes fans also ask me how to visit Barry. I hope it is clear to everyone that you cannot just go to him. Think about the privacy of the family. Their homes are private and secluded and off the road behind gates, so it is not wise to make long journeys to visit. It is simply not possible. If there are any public appearances in the future where you can see Barry I will certainly report that on GSI like always but you cannot just go to the family to one of their homes.
The Gibb Family / management and GSI feel the need to again pay attention to this matter again
Despite my repeated requests and advice to stop writing to the Gibbs’ private addresses in USA and UK., requesting autographed photos and request for signing all sorts of privately sent items…., a large number of fans still do this !! Perhaps also by fans who aren’t GSI members and therefore haven’t read my advice, even though the info is also available and posted here on the international GSI website.
So at the moment we’ve decided therefore that all -material for signing- will be returned to sender unopened. It’s simply not possible for Barry to be busy 24/7 signing all sorts of items for people all over the world. I doubt fans who send something will fully realise that they’re not the only fan, but there are thousands even millions !! so unfortunately, this decision had to be made, and I count on your cooperation!!.
