Whispering Bob Harris visit to Thame Museum
Many well known names have already visited this lovely museum in Thame.
Bob Harris came visiting February 13 together with Dwina Gibb.
It was an honour for the Thame Museum to welcome TV & Radio Broadcasting Legend Whispering Bob Harris to Thame Museum  for a private tour with Dwina Gibb: Thame Museum Patron.
Bob popularly known as “Whispering Bob” Harris hosted the iconic BBC2 music programme The old Grey Whistle Test! from 1972 to 1979, and was a co-founder of the listings magazine Time Out.
 He has presented The Country Show on BBC Radio 2 since April 1999, and Sounds of the 70s on Sunday afternoons since November 2024, replacing Johnnie Walker.
The Thame Museum  welcomes 1000s of visitors of which many  Bee Gees fans from around the world each year. The museum even has a special Robin Gibb Gallery as Bee Gee Robin, lived  a long time, until his death,  in beautiful Thame where his family still lives today.
