Dennis Bryon passed away

Today we heard the very sad news that

Bee Gees Band drummer Dennis Bryon has passed away.

Dennis Bryon the Welsh drummer from Cardiff best known for his work with the Bee Gees. He also worked amongst others with Amen Corner and co-produced Robin Gibb’s 1983 album, How Old Are You?. Dennis released an autobiography about his years with the Bee Gees on August 11, 2015, called, You Should Be Dancing: My Life with the Bee Gees. The past few years Dennis has also been on tour again in Europe a few times with the Egiziano Brothers and band / Italian Bee Gees, along with Vince Melouney and Blue Weaver.                                                                                                                                                                                                         By Sebastian Franke-Vuković:

Blue reflects on a long, musically fulfilling time with Dennis Bryon, his friend who was far more than just a drummer. Dennis and Blue, both deeply rooted in the music of Amen Corner,  the Bee Gees and beyond, shared countless moments that remain unforgettable to both of them. They were not only colleagues on stage but also close confidants, supporting each other through the ups and downs of their careers. Dennis’s drumming was distinctive, full of rhythm and expression, and formed the heartbeat of many shared musical experiences.

Dennis’s death leaves a void filled with memories—of times rich with creativity, shared performances, and quiet moments together away from the spotlight. For Blue, Dennis was someone with whom he could share his passion for music, who always offered understanding and friendship, and whose warm-hearted presence could light up any room.
