Yesterday evening I was shocked by the news that Dolly Parton had passed away….. I had no words and just didn’t see this coming although I knew she had already scaled back her work since last year.
We have lost an amazing singer, songwriter, and a beautiful human being. One thing is certain… her music and all the good work she did will live on.
The Bee Gees fan club sends herewith our sincere condolences to Dolly’s family and friends, and to all who were fortunate enough to work with her and knew her, as well as to all fans worldwide. We will miss her and we will always love her.
Also special thoughts to our Bee Gees family. The Gibb brothers knew her and Barry even not too long ago worked with Dolly on his album Greenfields!!

Dolly Parton peacefully passed away August 25, 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 80 years old.
A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family.
At Dolly’s request, a small, private service will be held for immediate family. Dolly’s fans and friends from around the world are encouraged to pay tribute to Dolly on social media by tagging @DollyParton or by leaving a message at: www.dollyparton.com
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at: www.imaginationlibrary.com
