Marion: “The Italian Bee Gees are personal friends of mine / GSI. They first contacted me in 2003. They love helping to keep the Bee Gees legacy alive because they simply adore The Bee Gees music and love singing Gibb compositions live on stage with their band.
The Italian Bee Gees do not impersonate The Bee Gees but sing the Gibb songs live for their audiences with all their heart and soul. For them important is: their unconditional love for the Bee Gees music which they enjoy to share with their audiences with lots of enthusiasm and passion.
This is also the reason why former Bee Gees band member Blue Weaver quite some years ago chose The Egiziano Brothers to work with and to perform the Bee Gees music once again on stage with these three brothers. For many years also original Bee Gee Vince Melouney is performing a lot with the Italians on stage and for a while even former Bee Gees band drummer Dennis Bryon did. ( unfortunately he passed away November 2024!). They all admire the Italian Bee Gees and band. I think no one can ever copy The Bee Gees in what way ever. Their voices and sound are unique. So why try?! That’s why I am not the biggest fan of those type of tribute groups who try to act, sound, speak, walk, dress etc. like our Gibb Brothers. I am more impressed by a group like the Italian Bee Gees who are a good band performing the Gibb music with heart and soul live on stage, that’s to me more important.
Even Barry mentioned in an interview that he loves to see other artists sing their music: – Barry: ‘I always get a kick out of someone else singing our songs’! I personally think he’s not that fond of artists who try to impersonate him and his brothers in every way on stage. I also believe that artists shouldn’t need to look and act like the Gibbs but in the first place try to keep that wonderful BG music alive. “
I am glad that the Egiziano Brothers also have been working together already with Robin’s son: Robin John Gibb the past few years to celebrate The Bee Gees music.!!”

Back to the USA, Back to Chicago
August 4, the Italian Bee Gees band, including some family members left for a wonderful week in the USA.
They are having good friends across the pond and visited and performed in Chicago already in 2006. Also people from the Italian community in the Chicago area have visited our friends in Paola , Italy before.
It was time again to fly to America and do some shows, some special shows during a celebration week: the 44th Festa Della Famiglia at Casa Italia / Stone Park. A moment when they also could celebrate with the Italian community in Chicago the special festa of their Italian home town Paola: VIVA SAN FRANCESCO DI PAOLA !!
They gave 3 concerts between August 6 and 11th and enjoyed a nice time in Chicago.

The concert on May 13. in the really beautiful venue in Bad Kissingen: The Max Littmann Saal of the Regentenbau It was the last Massachusetts show for this year in Germany and according to many, this hall is one of the best and most beautiful concert venues in Europe!

The whole team has enjoyed an Easter break and is coming back to continue the Massachusetts tour on April 23 in Alsdorf.
From Alsdorf the tour travelled to Köln, Bremen, Lemgo, Düsseldorf, Lüneburg and to the capital Berlin.
April 30, Berlin
In Berlin lots of GSI members gathered together to visit the concert in the Theater Am Potsdamer Platz and to celebrate this year the fact that it’s been 25 years ago since the Egiziano Brothers started to sing Bee Gees music live on stage. After many years playing in Berlin already they now for the first time performed in the theater, a really wonderful place to enjoy their concert. We first went with all the GSI members to visit the soundcheck and during the concert we all were seated first row. During the show me and Anja presented a huge box with specially made cupcakes ( thanks for arranging this Anja) to the whole team to celebrate the 25th. jubilee. It was really a surprise to them !! After the show there was like always the meet and greet where also all the GSI members were present and some could meet the Italian Bee Gees there and have a word with them etc. for the first time.
A few days later me and some of my friends from the UK got to meet The Egiziano brothers and band etc. again, more privately for a special talk while we were all still in Berlin.
May 3. Hamburg
The tour had left Berlin again and continued in Hamburg, followed by Kiel, Stade, Braunschweig, Kamenz: open air, Eberswalde: open air, Prenslau: open air, and Hannover.
May 13 Bad Kissingen
The last Massachusetts show for this year in Germany: in the beautiful venue of Bad Kissingen a great show and again like so often sold out. The team first had a day off and afterwards travelled across the border again on May 15 on their way to the last part of this 2025 Massachusetts tour: the concerts in Switzerland. More about that in the last Massachusetts 2025 update.

“Massachusetts” delights Berlin: An evening full of Bee Gees magic
A journey through time with the Italian Bee Gees: A thrilling evening in the heart of Berlin.
On April 30, 2025, the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin became a musical time machine. The program included a journey through decades full of disco glamour, soulful pop melodies, and powerful emotions. From the very first note, the question arose: Can other singers even compete with the Bee Gees’ unique sound? The answer came promptly – and was a resounding yes, absolutely!
“Massachusetts – The Bee Gees Musical” is much more than a best-of concert. It is a loving homage to the legendary brothers, packaged in a show full of music, memories, and goosebump-inducing moments.
The focus – of course – is the music of the Bee Gees. The hits range from their beginnings in the 1960s to the early 2000s. Songs like “Stayin’ Alive” and “How Deep Is Your Love” resonate with a quality that gives you goosebumps – thanks to The Italian Bee Gees, the brothers Davide, Walter, and Pasquale Egiziano. Robin Gibb himself bestowed the title “The Italian Bee Gees” on them more than two decades ago during an interview – an accolade that feels more than deserved. They are supported on stage by two true originals: Vince Melouney (formerly guitarist with the Bee Gees) and Blue Weaver, the band’s longtime keyboardist.
Adam Wittek hosted the program, guiding the audience through the evening with charm, wit, and profound knowledge. With little anecdotes and fascinating background information about the Gibb brothers, he gave the concert a personal, almost familial touch. Thus, the music was repeatedly embedded in its historical context – entertaining and informative at the same time.
A real highlight of the Berlin evening: the BERLIN SHOW DANCERS. With their strong presence and impressive stage performance, they provided real show moments on two songs. Hired exclusively for this date, they added extra sparkle to the evening. No wonder – the girls have already shared the stage with Frank Zander, Helene Fischer, Roland Kaiser, and Robin Thicke.
For many in the audience, it was not only a musical experience, but also a visual one. Each song was supported by a fitting lighting atmosphere, stage dynamics, and surprising moments – truly grand musical theater.
The musical range was also impressive. Two songs originally written for Diana Ross and Celine Dion were given their own unique, soulful touch thanks to Letizia Mongelli and Laura Ugolini. Goosebumps guaranteed. The background musicians performed at the highest level: precise, powerful, and at the same time sensitive when things quieted down. The arrangements were meticulously coordinated – not a note too many, not one too few.
The visual elements also played a major role in creating the atmosphere: LED screens set the perfect mood, with colorful animations that matched the music. From psychedelic flower power flair to a shimmering disco ball, everything was there. Numerous photos from all eras of the Bee Gees were also displayed on the walls.
Things got particularly emotional during the Robin Gibb hit “Juliet”: By the final chorus, no one could stay in their seats. The audience celebrated, clapped, and sang loudly – even long after the song had ended. The band responded spontaneously, started up again, and the party went into overtime.
Whether you were an old fan or a newcomer, this evening was a musical reunion with familiar sounds for many – or the first chapter of a new passion. “Massachusetts – The Bee Gees Musical” is nostalgia, show, and emotion all in one. And above all: it’s simply fun.

For our 25th year tribute to the Gibb Brothers, Bee Gees fans from England, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Ireland and (of course) Germany honored us with their presence at our concert.
Front row, straight from London, three members of the Gibb family (nieces of The Brothers) and two curators of the gallery dedicated to Robin and The Bee Gees in the Thame Museum, Oxfordshire, UK.
From the latter we received ‘the tribute book to Robin’, in which we found a very sweet dedication, written directly by Mrs. Dwina Gibb, whom we publicly thank.
And all the wonderful audience in the hall… An unforgettable evening, emotions that we will always carry with us and that we wanted to share with all of you here.

March 18, Bremerhaven
The tour team came back in Germany again and started the next concert on March 18 in Bremerhaven. From there the tour bus continued criss-crossing Germany to visit the next 15 theaters and concert halls to celebrate the Bee Gees music together with enthusiastic audiences.
March 19, Bochum
The first time this year that me and my husband visited the show and all our friends again. Great to see them all on stage and see the new artists too.
We arrived at the hall just before the tour bus did and a surprise it was to see Siggi, Blue Weaver’s wife was there too. It had been some years since we saw her last. Together with the team we all went into the hall and had some talks here and there before sound check started. Like always at the end of soundcheck we find ourselves a nice place to eat something which wasn’t difficult again this time as a lovely Italian restaurant was across the road of the venue. We again enjoyed a wonderful show but with really emotional moments because the Massachusetts team has lost Dennis Bryon ( Bee Gees Band drummer). He died last November and worked for about 4 years on these Massachusetts tours and the team honored him in the show which were sad moments. Also emotional for me and my husband as we knew Dennis and his wife well and I even had fond memories of the old days when I saw him performing with our original Bee Gees back in the seventies during tours. Unfortunately Dennis was not the only one connected to The Bee Gees, who recently has passed away: the show also mentioned Colin Petersen, the original first drummer of The Bee Gees who died in the same week Dennis died. Such a tragedy. Like always the very special guests during this 2025 tour again are: Vince Melouney (original Bee Gee until 1969) and Blue Weaver ( Bee Gees Band keyboard player)!! Together with our Italian friends, a new moderator and new dancers it is a wonderful show again and a beautiful tribute to The Bee Gees music. Cannot wait to go again!! ciao amici, a presto!!

Another concert hall and another lovely show in which the audience could make a trip through the career of The Bee Gees and their music thanks to the wonderful tribute of The Italian Bee Gees and their Massachusetts team. Today not only a celebration to the Gibb music but also to…….. singer Letizia Mongelli as she celebrated her birthday too!! So lots of congrats for her!!

After again a great show it was time to take a well deserved break and go back to family and friends for some relaxing and for Easter celebrations.
April 8, start of the Easter break. The team will gather again in 2 weeks to continue the Massachusetts tour in Alsdorf, Germany on April 23, 2025.

On March 10, the tour bus crossed the border from Germany to Austria to do some concerts there. To begin with in Linz, followed by more great shows in Austria in Graz on March 11, and in Vienna on March 12.

Time for a short break after the fantastic show again in Vienna.
The team had been busy preparing and rehearsing from early this month followed by the first great shows in Germany and Austria so now they’re returning home for a short while or…. where ever they like to go, to enjoy their tour break.

Right at the beginning of the month the Italian Bee Gees and band etc. travelled to Germany again to their rehearsal address. There the dancers were already busy with the choreographer of also this 2025 Massachusetts show: Kolja Schallenberg.
This year the 3 Egiziano brothers and their band and singers will again be accompanied by 4 great dancers, a show moderator ( this year Adam Wittek) and the special guests: former original Bee Gee member Vince Melouney and former keyboard player of the Bee Gees band: Blue Weaver. More about all these people later during the tour.

At the evening of March 6 the team had their dress rehearsal and was ready to jump on the bus and start the tour. Roberto Risorto the IBG keyboard player was in Hungary for another performance and replaced by keyboard player Will Preite. Roberto will join the team later in the coming week.
March 8, Audimax, Regensburg, Germany
Premiere Day, the first show in the Audimax in Regensburg. The Egiziano brothers and their singers and band, only tonight Will Preite still on keyboards instead of Roberto and a new moderator: Adam Wittek and 4 wonderful new dancers. It looks as if each year the shows become brighter. More beautiful and colourful.
A start of a new tour is always quite emotional and this year more than ever with the passing of Dennis Bryon late last year, the drummer of the Bee Gees band who toured with the IBG in this show for several years. He was honored and will never be forgotten by the team and by all the fans.

The second show of this tour, with Roberto Risorto back at his keyboard and the audience dancing in the aisles and in front of the stage to the sound of The Bee Gees, the music that never dies.

Massachusetts Tour 2025 is about to begin next week
Rehearsals have started yet. Kolja Schallenberg, the choreographer of the Massachusetts show is busy working with the dancers of this years Massachusetts show and March first the rest of the team will start travelling to Germany for a number of days rehearsing again. The premiere show will be March 8 in Regensburg, Germany and the show will travel to about 45 venues in Austria, Germany and Switzerland this Spring. Magnificent hit parade with the Bee Gees’ best songs!
Together with a strong team, Robin-John Gibb, son of Robin Gibb, has created the ultimate tribute to his father and uncles.
It is with good reason that Robin-John Gibb, son of Robin Gibb, calls ‘Legacy’ the most authentic Bee Gees tribute out there. He himself is behind the show together with the three Italian Egiziano brothers; Pascual, David and Walter.
The three Egiziano brothers have been playing the Bee Gees’ great songs for years, and their tribute show was both known and respected by the Gibb brothers, which is why they were an obvious choice when Robin-John wanted to do his own, ultimate tribute show to his father and his three uncles.

A new year has started, also for our Italian Bee Gees who played again in their own restaurant to all the guests celebrating at New Years Eve. Tour manager of the boys Jacek Pryt and his wife visited the south of Italy too to celebrate with the brothers and their family and other guests.
After the group had finished their first Polish tour end of November they did one more performance in their home land Italy on December 11th. in The “Raffaele Gervasio” Auditorium at the beautiful town of Matera.
I hope to have more information soon about all the plans and concerts for 2023 but I can already tell you that the earlier posted 2023 concert list will probably get some changes. Photos and video material on the IBG Face book group of GSI: www.facebook.com

Poland Tour 2022.
The first real Poland Tour of The Italian Bee Gees has come to an end. Time for the whole team to go back to family and friends to enjoy the Holidays and…. To look forward to the new shows of 2023. As I earlier mentioned there had been some changes in the tour plan and more Polish shows probably will follow next year. Also this year, now Covid restrictions luckily are gone, the group did a number of concerts during the summer in July, August and September in Germany and Italy.
Germany: July 2 in Premnitz, Brandeburg and in Italy on July 15 (with Blue Weaver) again: Sardinia: Forte Village Resort as well as shows in San Lucido (August 3), Ostuni (August 5), Coreca – Amantea (August 22) and Spezzano – Sila ( September 12) and during the Oktoberfest in Rende ( September 22).

Massachusetts on tour, 2022. Part 2
Like earlier mentioned the concert in Norderstedt had to be postponed to next year. Due to a flooding, the venue couldn’t be used. The team had some extra time in Berlin before the concert there took place on May 18.

The Potsdam concert was kind of special as it was here where the Italian Bee Gees ten years ago started their yearly touring through Germany!!

Massachusetts on tour, 2022. Part 1
Unfortunately still due to the Covid situation it wasn’t possible to do the whole 2022 tour like earlier planned, so many concerts have been re-booked to early 2023 and people can use the earlier bought tickets for these events of course.
This means the Massachusetts tour of this year is a short one but the artists are soooo happy being able to perform for you again and I have been visiting them at the opening show in Dusseldorf which was again…. a party!!
It was great to see them all happy and healthy on stage performing our beloved Bee Gees music and it was so good to talk with everyone again , hug and laugh together, after two long years.
This first part of the tour they travelled to: Dusseldorf: April 25, Stuttgart: April 26, Frankfurt: April 28 and Ilsenburg: April 30.
Now they have a break and they will continue on May 16 in Norderstedt, followed by Berlin, Potsdam and Halle. (see tour list 2022).
Our Italian brothers have planned more concerts for this year of which I keep you updated like always in the yearly concert tour lists. There probably come some concerts in Italy and then there is the planned tour through Poland etc.

On April 25 a short but great tour will start again for our Massachusetts Team when they all take the stage of the Tonhalle in Dusseldorf. Still due to the effects of all the Covid problems many of the planned concerts received a new date: early in 2023.

MASSACHUSETTS tour 2021, Germany Part 2

The 2021 tour continues in November. Great shows in Limburg (2), Suhl (3) and November 4: in Dresden, where Polish IBG manager Jacek visited the show and the team. It’s a free weekend now. Time to do all kinds of work which has to be done on tour as well and….. some time of course to relax too.

Tonight Anja and Detlef visited again and made a great photo report like always, next to them on the front row were other friends Salvatore and Birgit. They all had a great night!

Like November 16 the group was back in Theater am Aegi in Hannover again tonight for the last show of this tour. The group had again travelled crisscross Germany with the Massachusetts Show: Ingolstadt, Chemnitz, Leipzig, Erfurt, Magdeburg, Zwickau, Ludwigshafen, Fulda, Karlsruhe, Baden Baden Limburg, Suhl, Dresden, Neu-Isenburg, Dortmund, Duisburg, Lubeck, Hannover, Rostock, Hannover.
In a very strange time and under different circumstances than usual because of Covid, our friends have finally been…. live on stage again!! Thank you to everyone on stage, backstage and at the office for making this tour possible and thanks for all the music we love so much!! Also we hope that Antonio will be able to take part in the concerts next year again and…. great work Vincenzo for being there to do the drumming this time!! New guitarist Roberto I hope you’ve had a great first time touring Germany with this team and last but not least Aurora Egiziano Cittadino , you were the special star in the first part of the tour. Sorry I missed all this. The year 2022 will bring many more concerts, we are looking forward to that. The concert list for 2022 as far as it is known at the moment, is posted here on the website. I’ll keep you updated.

MASSACHUSETTS tour 2021, Germany Part 1

Finally live on tour again!!! After a break due to Covid.
The Italian Bee Gees and their Massachusetts team.
Unfortunately the 2020 tour had to be postponed at the last moment due to the upcoming Covid pandemic but now they can finally perform the shows and have started the premiere show at the Saturn Arena in Ingolstadt.
Like I earlier mentioned, Roberto Ventura has become the new lead guitarist after we enjoyed for such a wonderful time our dear Ivan Avicolli !!. Unfortunately, and I wrote this earlier, also on the Facebook group, there had some latest changes to be made for this tour when Antonio became ill and had to go home for a while. So thanks to friend and musician Vincenzo Infusino, (living in London where I already had the pleasure of meeting him 2 years ago), the show could go on and Vincenzo came over, rehearsed and rehearsed to take Antonio’s place for a short while. So thankful to Vincenzo he could do this and best wishes for a speedy recovery and a coming back soon for Antonio. Great also to see back on stage my friends Vince Melouney and … Blue Weaver and more familiar faces!! and…. last but not least: we had the pleasure of welcoming in the team the young Egiziano generation: Walter’s youngest daughter Aurora, singing with the team for the first 6 concerts of the tour until Letizia Mongelli will be back again in the team. Letizia now is still working in Italy with her husband in a tv show. So the first shows Laura will have Aurora next to her, how wonderful is that as Laura knows Aurora already from when she was very young. The dancers are this time Svitlana and Sofia who we both know already and the boys are: Luke Vella and Callum Pearson. Moderator like last time Thomas Hinrich.

During the first 6 shows youngest daughter of Walter Egiziano performed with the group during the shows. Here’s a special little video clip made by my dear friends Anja Detlef Wange of the emotional performance of Aurora and her father. I remember Walters kids from when they were young and now to see Aurora singing like this, live for a big audience brings tears in my eyes. We hope to see and hear more from her in near future.

Italian Bee Gees: “With pride, and a lot of emotion, we present Aurora Egiziano.
She will be one of the vocalists for the first 6 concerts of the upcoming “Massachusetts Musical” Tour in Germany.”
Aurora is the youngest daughter of Italian Bee Gee: Walter Egiziano and his wife Loredana.
A lovely young girl when I met her first almost 10 years ago now, has grown into a beautiful young lady who will be performing with her father and uncles on stage this Fall for the first time in their Massachusetts Show in Germany.
I wish her good luck…. In bocca al lupo!!

The new lead guitarist is Roberto Ventura.
He was asked to become member of IBG after Ivan Avicolli had left the group some time ago. Due to the Covid problems there were no performances for quite some time as we all know. Now I can finally announce that Robert officially has joined The Italian Bee Gees and goes on tour performing with them. He is from Cosenza, Italy and amongst others played with the Italian Bee Gees before, during their summer shows of 2019. I reported about that, here on the Italian Bee Gees pages.

The Bee Gees Story is a show presented by the Italian Bee Gees. Similar to the phenomenal three Gibb brothers who formed the original Bee Gees, the Italian Bee Gees was formed by the three talented Egiziano brothers. They started their career in July 2000 with the performance of several Bee Gees songs on Italian television. Since then, the brothers have performed over 400 times in Italy, and additionally in countries such as England, Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and even the USA. In 2009, the Egiziano brothers were invited to Manchester, England, to attend a gala concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bee Gees music. There they met Barry and Robin Gibb who named them the Italian Bee Gees. The name has been used by the team ever since.
The Italian Bee Gees and their music band continue to present to the public the special Bee Gees sound and stage emotions that only their own brothers can create. It all causes amazing feelings in the audience, and even shivers down the body. Unfortunately, the original Bee Gees are no longer with us, but the Italian Bee Gees cultivate their memory and keep their music alive. An additional attraction of the event is the participation of Blue Weaver, a British keyboardist, composer and producer, who was a member of the original line-up of The Bee Gees in the years 1975 – 1982. During this time, he performed on all recordings and concerts of the band and composed several songs with Barry and his brothers. . Blue has been working with The Italian Bee Gees on stage for five years. Everyone who comes to the concert should sit comfortably and if they close their eyes they won’t believe that they are not listening to the original Bee Gees and then, like John Travola, you want to dance. This concert is not only for fans of The Bee Gees, but for everyone who wants to listen to real live Bee Gees music and dance alongside it.
