Tribute to Maurice Gibb

It is with sadness that we write this tribute – As we go to press, the sadness that envelopes us is intense.
Maurice Gibb, whose voice was perhaps least familiar to the public, usually focused on back-up and harmony vocals.
He was known as the quiet Bee Gee, the one who was always in the background.

The Beegees are one of the few acts to have had hits in every decade.
They were a gang, you pictured them together and now Maurice is not here it is very sad.
Maurice was an integral part of the No. 5 best-selling act of all time.
It’s a major loss to music. He was one third of that unique vocal blend, so close it could only have come from brothers.

Maurice is survived by his Wife Yvonne, Children Adam and Samantha fellow band members and brothers Barry Gibb, Vocalist/Guitarist (Born September 1, 1946 on the British Isle of Man) Robin Gibb, Vocalist/Twin (Born December 22, 1949 on the British Isle of Man) and millions of fans worldwide.

We have just heard that a number of countries have already made plans to honor Maurice on Postage Stamps.
We will bring you the details as they become available.
